Jurnal Kesehatan Lingkungan: Jurnal dan Aplikasi Teknik Kesehatan Lingkungan is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Poltekkes Kemenkes Banjarmasin in collaboration with HAKLI (Indonesian Environmental Health Experts Association) under a formal memorandum of understanding (MoU). The journal aims to facilitate and disseminate research findings, scientific developments, and community service outcomes in the field of environmental health, including environmental sanitation, health entomology, and health microbiology (see Focus and Scope).
The journal is published biannually, in January and July.
This journal has been nationally accredited for five years based on the Decree of the Directorate General of Research and Development Strengthening, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia, No. 36/E/KPT/2019, covering publications from Volume 16 No. 2 (2019) to Volume 21 No. 1 (2024). Subsequently, the journal continues to be accredited at SINTA 3 level based on the Decree of the Director of Research and Community Service, Directorate General of Research and Development, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, No. 0173/C3/DT.05.00/2025 dated March 21, 2025, valid from Volume 20 No. 1 (2023) to Volume 24 No. 2 (2027).
Authors are required to follow the journal Author Guidelines prior to submission. Manuscripts that do not comply with the submission guidelines or formatting requirements will be rejected at the initial screening stage. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process.
The journal is committed to publication ethics and follows international standards in scholarly publishing.
